Please note: Your order will be processed as soon as it has been received, and will be shipped once your full payment has cleared with us (which can take 1 – 3 business days depending on the bank used).  An ‘Order Confirmation’ email will be sent to you once your order is shipped.  We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by late delivery of an order, if the delay was the result of issues with your payment being cleared.

 

Order shipping details

Please read the below information to ensure that you understand the specifics related to orders placed with Global Hot Shops:

  • We recommend that you have your order shipped to a work address or an address where you are likely to be present during business hours to accept the delivery.  Basic Australia Post deliveries do not require a signature, but they do require someone to accept the parcel. 
  • We cannot ship to a PO Box address.  If you enter a PO Box address during checkout we will be in contact with you to obtain a revised postal address.
  • You can expect to receive delivery of your order within 2 – 4 business days of placement (assuming there are no delays with the postage service, Public Holidays, or issues with your payment clearing, all of which may delay your order).
  • Some remote locations may have longer delivery times than 4 business days.
  • Please understand that we cannot guarantee the expected time of delivery for your order, given we use a third party supplier for our postage service.  We can however help you track an order that seems to be late to arrive.
  • If you do not receive your delivery it is your responsibility to contact us, as we do not receive a confirmation of when each delivery is made.  Once you have advised us of a late delivery we can track the order for you.
  • If you contact us to advise that an order has not been received (and we can confirm with the postage service that it definitely has not been delivered) we will re-send the order assuming we still have the item/s in stock, at no additional postage charge to you. 
  • It is your responsibility to enter the correct shipping address when you place an order with us.  We are under no obligation to re-send orders that were originally sent to an incorrect address entered by you.
  • If a delivery is returned to us because of an error made by you, we will be in contact with you to confirm the correct details, and will then re-send the order at your expense (when we contact you to advise of the return we will confirm the method of payment for the second postage charge).
  • If a delivery is returned to us because of an error made by Global Hot Shops, we will be in contact with you to confirm the correct details, and will then re-send the order at our expense.
  • If we make three attempts to contact you regarding a returned delivery and cannot get in touch with you, your order will be cancelled, the product will be put back into our stock and you will be credited for the cost of the items ordered.  Postage costs however will not be credited.
  • Global Hot Shops cannot be held responsible or liable for any deliveries that are late as a result of the postage service used.

 

Order shipping details: additional information for International addresses

We are happy to ship orders to international customers, however we recommend you read the below information in addition to the above basic shipping detail, to ensure that you understand the specific processes and potential additional charges related to international orders: 
 

  • All international orders have a shipment time of approximately 5 - 10 business days, but this is an average only.  The actual shipment time depends on the address the order is being shipped to, and the local customs & clearance processes.
  • Shipment tracking information (ie: airway bill number) for international orders will be emailed to you once the order has been dispatched.
  • Global Hot Shops is not responsible for any duty, tariff, tax or customs charges that may be placed on your shipment upon arrival into your country.  All such costs are the responsibility of you the customer.  
  • Global Hot Shops is not responsible for any currency conversion charges that may be charged to you by your bank and/or credit card, as a result of making a purchase through our site in AUD. All such costs are the responsibility of you the customer. 
  • The actual true value in AUD of the order will be listed on all shipment paperwork.
  • For orders to international customers that are not required to pay the local Australian GST tax, the 10% is retained in the total price and is simply treated as a processing fee.

 

Order tracking

 

To track an order please email us at shopping@globalhotshops.com and state your full name, your order number (as listed on your ‘Payment Receipt’ that was emailed to you when your order was placed) and the date you placed your order.  We will then track the order for you and send you an update via reply email.

 

Order cancellations 

 

If you need to cancel an order with us please email us immediately at shopping@globalhotshops.com  Please understand that orders cannot be cancelled once they have been.  Orders that cannot be cancelled for this reason can be returned to us for a full refund, subject to the Returns and Exchanges policy below.

Please note: Global Hot Shops reserves the right to cancel any orders, revise any orders, not provide services and close or edit member accounts at any time.  Using our Site means you agree to this term and therefore confirm you will not attempt to hold us liable for any damages or losses arising as a result of the above actions.

 

Returns and Exchanges

 

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from us, but we do understand that sometimes things might not work out as you had expected.  Therefore we offer a cooperative and fair Returns and Exchanges policy, as below, to ensure you are always happy with your experience shopping with Global Hot Shops.

 

Returns policy

 

Global Hot Shops will provide a full credit of the original purchase price, including GST but excluding postage costs, for items returned to us within 7 days (of delivery to you) subject to the below:
 

  • All return items must be sent back to Global Hot Shops within 7 days (of delivery to you). 
  • Returns received after 7 days (of delivery to you) are processed at the discretion of Global Hot Shops. 
  • All return items must be sent back to Global Hot Shops via Registered Post.  If you send a return to us and we do not receive it, and it was not sent via registered post and therefore cannot be tracked, we are not able to proceed with the return credit (or member account credit or exchange).  It is your responsibility to ensure that all return items are packed and posted adequately to arrive to us undamaged and within the 7 days.
  • All return items must NOT have been worn or used, and all original tags must still be attached.  If any of the original tags have been removed from an item and/or the item has been worn or used, the return will be processed at the discretion of Global Hot Shops.  If we deem that a return will not be processed due to the state of the return items, they will be sent back to you at your cost.
  • No returns can be accepted for items that fall into the categories as listed below, for health and hygiene reasons:
    - Jewellery
    - Underwear
    - Swimwear
  • If you have more than one item from the one delivery that you would like to return (or exchange) please ensure they are sent back to us at the same time.
  • All return amounts will be credited back onto the same credit card that was used to make the original purchase, including GST but excluding postage costs. 
  • Please note that it may take 10 – 15 working days from the time you returned the items to us, for the credit to appear in your bank account.  If the credit does not show after this time, please contact us so we can investigate.
  • International customers – please note that any International customs duties and/or sales tax charges relating to your order upon entry into your country, are NOT applicable for a refund, as they are additional costs to you as the buyer, that take place after the transaction with Global Hot Shops has been finalized.

 

Exchanges policy

  • If you would like to exchange an item, please email us immediately at shopping@globalhotshops.com and advise your full name, the date you placed your order, the details of the item you would like to exchange, and the details of the item you would like to receive instead.  We will then confirm with you the availability of the item you are wanting, and reserve it for you for 7 working days.  If the item you would like is not available, we will advise you and a full refund or member account credit will be issued.  
  • All exchanges are subject to product availability. 
  • All exchange items must be sent back to Global Hot Shops within 7 days (of delivery to you). 
  • Exchanges received after 7 days (of delivery to you) are processed at the discretion of Global Hot Shops. 
  • All exchange items must be sent back to Global Hot Shops via Registered Post.  If you send an exchange to us and we do not receive it, and it was not sent via registered post and therefore cannot be tracked, we are not able to proceed with the exchange (or member account credit or return credit).  It is your responsibility to ensure that all exchange items are packed & posted adequately to arrive to us undamaged and within the 7 days.

Returns and Exchanges checklist

 

Before sending your return or exchange to us, please run through the below checklist and ensure you have covered all steps:

  1. If you are wanting to exchange an item, check that you have emailed us at shopping@globalhotshops.com and advised your full name, the date you placed your order, the details of the item you would like to exchange, and the details of the item you would like to receive instead.
  2. Ensure you are sending your return or exchange to us within 7 days (of delivery to you). 
  3. Ensure you are sending your return or exchange to us via Registered Post.
  4. Ensure you have packed your return or exchange items adequately to ensure they arrive to us un-damaged.
  5. Ensure that your return or exchange has NOT have been worn or used, and all original tags are still attached. 
  6. Ensure that your return or exchange does not fall into any of the below categories (which as per our return and exchanges policies, we cannot accept for health and hygiene reasons:
    - Jewellery
    - Underwear
    - Swimwear
  7. Ensure that if you have more than one item from the one delivery that you would like to return or exchange, that you are sending them back in the one shipment.
  8. Ensure that you include with your return or exchange the ‘Return Authorization Form’ that was sent with your order, with all appropriate sections completed.

 

Damaged or Faulty goods Returns and Exchanges

 

We quality control check all items before shipping to ensure there are no damages or faults with your purchase, but if you receive an item that you feel is damaged or faulty, please email us immediately at shopping@globalhotshops.com 

Global Hot Shops recommends you check all items thoroughly upon receipt before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.

 

Product availability 

 

All of our products are in limited quantities so if you see something you like it’s best to snap it up quick before it’s gone!  Our purpose is to bring you what’s hot from around the globe, so it’s different to what everyone else on the street around you is wearing, and that means limited quantities.  So it’s first in best dressed, literally!

 

Please note: Whilst we work with a fully integrated back-end stock management system that updates each time a purchase on an item is made, sometimes there is an overlap and the system may allow more stock to be sold than what we physically have on hand.  While we strive for this to never happen as we understand how disappointing it is for the customer, sometimes these things do unfortunately slip through.  So, if it turns out that an item you have ordered is in fact not available, we will contact you via email or phone to discuss other options with you.

 

Price adjustments

 

By the nature of the retail world prices do change now and then.  We understand that this may be frustrating if you have just purchased an item that is now listed at a lower cost, therefore we will happily credit your Global Hot Shops member account with the $ difference between the original and new pricing if you contact us within 10 days of your purchase.

Additionally, if any pricing listed on the site is incorrect and we adjust it to the correct higher price once recognized, we will always charge you the lower price that was listed on the site at the time you made your purchase.

 

Member accounts

 

The password used on your account must be a minimum of four (4) characters and IS case sensitive. If at any time you wish to close your member account or unsubscribe from our member newsletter, please email us at: contact@globalhotshops.com

Please note: The one single person may not have more than one member account active at any one time with Global Hot Shops whether it be by name, postal address, email address or alias. Any credits on member accounts are not transferable.  All member account information is kept as per our Privacy & Security policy.
