Munthe plus Simonsen, the award-winning design company, was founded in 1994 by designers Naja Munthe and Karen Simonsen in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Today, the company has two ‘image’ stores in Copenhagen and Aarhus, showcasing the brands complete seasonal collections. In addition, the brand is sold in more than 200 boutiques across 15 different countries.
In February and August each year Munthe plus Simonsen holds its spectacular annual fashion shows in Denmark, where it presents the latest Munthe plus Simonsen collection to the fashion press and stylists & buyers from around the world.
In the lead-up to these shows, the company is involved in a long process in which, among other things, great care is lavished on the individual designs and the many details and aspects, colours and materials that have been specially designed for each collection. Great emphasis is placed on creating new concepts that are distinct from the philosophies of the previous year.
The Munthe plus Simonsen head office & central showroom is located in Copenhagen and it is here that the collections are created & then presented to customers, stylists, press & buyers and also where all sales, customer service and administration aspects of the business are carried out.
